To make onsite check-in easier for International Attendees, go directly to the Y-USA International Booth, your Official Welcome Station, upon your arrival at the Gaylord National Resort & Conference Center. It will located next to the NAYDO Registration/Information Center.

A special dinner and a YMCA Alexandria tour awaits international attendees as a welcome to the NAYDO Conference and to the YMCA of Metropolitan Washington. Meet and connect with local leaders, global colleagues and NAYDO Chair Shelly McTighe-Rippengale. Bus transportation provided. Latin American and Caribbean Attendees Meeting (LACA)

Thursday, April 2   
8:00 - 10:00 am 


Latin American and Caribbean attendees should plan on attending this interactive session focused on strengthening the culture of philanthropy in Latin America and the Caribbean. YMCAs will share their experiences and discuss strategies to advance global philanthropy, strengthen their fundraising efforts, and increase their social impact across the region. Invitation only.  Contact Antonio Merino, LACA, at antonio.merino@lacaymca.org if you have questions.

Enough tables will be reserved for both General Session Luncheons to accommodate all international attendees so you can sit together.
Thursday Night Dinner Option with Conference Attendees
American and Canadian conference attendees can signup this year to join international attendees for dinner. NAYDO realized that we were offering opportunities for international attendees to connect with each other but not providing options for international attendees to connect with Americans and Canadians. It is entirely optional. Contact Mary Tikalsky, mary.tikalsky@ymca.net, by February 19 if you would like to participate in one of these small group dinners.
Global Philanthropy Forum
Friday, April 3 (during Round 7)     
3:15 - 4:15 pm

Under the leadership of Mary Tikalsky, Director, Y-USA World Service, and Renata Ferrari, Y-USA Senior Director of Global Advancement, this interactive session will provide the opportunity for international attendees to discuss innovative ideas from the NAYDO Conference as well as successes and challenges in YMCA fundraising and resource mobilization in the participating countries and regions of the world. Participants will also discuss strategies on how to intergrate the NAYDO experience in the local/global YMCA context and how NAYDO can continue to help advance global philanthropy in North America and worldwide. Certificates of participation will be presented by Chair Shelly McTighe-Rippengale to all international attendees.
